Hon will talk about the opportunities and pitfalls for broadcasters when they produce new kinds of entertainment native to the Web

Dan Hon is co-founder and CEO of Six to Start, an award-winning entertainment production company founded with his brother Adrian in September 2007. Six to Start’s first project, We Tell Stories, for Penguin in 1998 re-imagined how a publisher could adapt to producing fiction online. Six to Start invents and builds new kinds of entertainment that are designed from the start to live on multiple, connected platforms. Its clients and partners include Disney, Fremantle, Channel 4, 4iP, BBC and the National Maritime Museum. Prior to co-founding Six to Start, Dan was COO at the Accel Partners and Index Ventures backed start-up Mind Candy, where he worked on the alternate reality game Perplex City. He is a law graduate from Cambridge University, and has an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Liverpool. Dan has spoken extensively on both social software and cross media gaming, and was recently a jury member for the BAFTA Videogames and RTS Education Awards.
