Cameron will talk about the lessons for an established media company developing new media platforms.

Dominic Cameron joined ITV.com as interim Managing Director in April 2008 before taking the job on a permanent basis in November of the same year. He oversees ITV.com as it is integrated with ITV’s broadcast channels, consistent with the company’s Turnaround Strategy, which involves commissioning online-only video and interactive drama.

Cameron has a diverse background, having worked previously as an Executive Producer on Newsnight and the BBC's General Election coverage and since the early 1990s as an entrepreneur with some of Britain’s most notable digital enterprises. He co-founded beeb.com, BBC News Online and Upmystreet.com and, as Chief Technology Officer at lastminute.com, took the technical strategy and implementation of the Web start-up from first prototype to a global business.

At lastminute.com he was responsible for the company’s customer experience innovation activities, including voice automation. While there, he oversaw several 'world firsts’ in the use of speech automation, voice recognition and for the development of advanced self-service platforms. He managed a portfolio of innovation activities at lastminute.com known as TheNest and has a non-executive role advising on innovation with lastminute.com Labs on mobile and other initiatives.
