Angeli will reflect on concerns and challenge related to journalism ‘beyond broadcast’.

As Head of Content, John Angeli oversees the integration of content at the Press Association, bringing together the different strands of text, photos, video and graphics. Angeli joined the PA as Multimedia Editor in 2006, producing a range of products for digital platforms that include MSN, Sun Online, the Daily Mail, Tiscali and Northcliffe Electronic Publishing. PA has 30 video journalists and a further 35 reporters and photographers trained in video in London and around the country in its regional bureaux.

Before joining the PA, he was Duty Editor on the network news desk at Westminster, working on output for the One, Six and Ten O’Clock TV news bulletins, as well as Radio 4 news and current affairs. Before this he was Editor of Interactive TV and Broadband at BBC News, where he was responsible for the launch and editorial development of BBC News services on digital satellite and broadband. He also oversaw interactivity around BBC television news specials. As Production Editor at BBC News Interactive, Angeli managed BBC News Online’s audio video services, including the BBC’s video news player.
